16 Jan Engage Mobile Wins AMPS Award for Cross-Channel Integrated Campaign – “The Art of the Verizon IndyCar Pit Stop”
We just found out – The Art of the Verizon IndyCar Pit Stop with RLL Racing using Google Glass” has won an AMP Award for Cross-Channel Integrated Campaign – VERY exciting. The AMPS Awards is an awards show created by and judged by social media professionals to acknowledge excellence in Social Media.
The Campaign: Engage Mobile Solutions and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing teamed up to bring fans inside the helmets of the RLL Racing Team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Using multiple pairs of Google Glass, the firm captured a practice session and pit stop featuring Graham Rahal, Bobby Rahal and the pit crew of the RLL Racing Team. Sports fans and technology lovers alike will want to catch a glimpse of the ground-breaking video.

A search for just one of the videos “the art of the Verizon Indycar pit stop” in quotes on Google yields tens of thousands of results – and this is just one of the videos and press releases that were part of the campaign.
